What Do We Believe?
Being Christ-centered means that everything the Bible teaches is about how the Father was reaching out to mankind in the person of His Son, Jesus. The mission of our church is to lead everyone to develop a strong relationship with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We help people to apply the wisdom of the Holy Scriptures to all aspects of their lives.
God loves all the people of the world, even though none of us deserves that love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for us. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. Through His Word, God creates a faith in Jesus that changes lives.
The Bible is God's Word. What it teaches, we believe. What it says, we do. What it promises, we hope for.
How Are We Jesus' Disciples?
Each and every one of us are called to be Jesus’ disciples. To share the good news of our Risen Savior. Jesus tells us…
At St. Mark, we do this in three simple steps!
The Bible tells us: “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.” - Psalm 95:6. St. Mark church services are a great place to worship our Lord, give praise, and hear God’s Word.
We want to become students of the Word. What better way to study than with the encouragement and fellowship of a small group. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” - John 1:1.
Now it’s time to Go! Ministry is our opportunity to help others know God’s love. A love that is more important than anything else. A love that saved us from eternal death. Therefore let us “be doers of the word, and not hearers only” - James 1:22
